About Dr. Michael Kaye

Doctor, author, wellness coach — Dr. Michael J. Kaye has been helping others out of pain and into personal gain for nearly two decades.

You may be wondering what exactly it is that a wellness coach does. Basically, a wellness coach works one-on-one with clients, usually over the phone, to empower them to achieve their goals.

As a wellness coach, Dr. Kaye helps others discover what they really want in life, if they don't already know. Then, just like a sports coach, he objectively, yet supportively, helps them inventory their assets (e.g. persistence, drive, flexibility) and liabilities (e.g. poor health, low self-esteem, lack of financial education). Finally, he assists and encourages those he coaches to build on their strengths and to overcome obstacles.

Just as an insightful coach can make the difference between a good athlete and a great athlete, Dr. Kaye's insightful wellness coaching helps others unleash their greatness.

Dr. Kaye entered the vocation of wellness coaching a bit differently than most. He didn't set out to find a career in the motivation and self-improvement field, even though he has a passion for this.

Michael J. Kaye was coaching before there was a name for this vocation. To him, it was just one of those "little extra things" he did to help his patients recover faster. Since 1988 when he became a chiropractor, Dr. Kaye has treated many patients for chronic pain. In doing so he discovered — and this was before holistic medicine hit the mainstream — that he could provide chronic pain relief much more effectively by treating the whole person.

He came to this realization after noticing that in the beginning of treatment, a patient's main desire is to get out of pain, but after initial relief, other concerns surface, usually in the realm of finances, relationships, and overall health and happiness.

A believer in the true (and practically lost) art of doctoring, Dr. Michael Kaye listened. He listened well, and then he coached. And he found as a patient put to use his encouragement, extraordinary problem-solving skills and fresh perspectives, the chronic pain diminished and the patient led a better life from the aspects of health, wealth and happiness.

Dr. Kaye believes that the best way to make lasting changes is in small increments. His system of graduated action may not have the marketing appeal of the “get rich quick” or “lose 10 pounds in one week” promises, but it's a time-proven system that works.

Dr. Kaye developed this system based on the results he's seen as a chiropractic physician and director of The Rehabilitation Group of Bucks/Montgomery County, a multidisciplinary clinic with an emphasis on treating chronic pain and bringing about wellness.

Additionally, he has published several articles on finance and wealth, happiness and motivation, and health and well-being and is a contributing author to 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health published by David Riklan and Dr. Joseph Cilea.

Dr. Michael Kaye's philosophy is that creating proper nutritional habits and exercising, defining true wealth and finding happiness do not have to be difficult..Through his website www.DrMichaelKaye.com, he shows others how to enjoy the journey of life..
