Now is the Time
Do you ever feel time is just ticking away? At the end of the
day do you find yourself wishing you had just a few more hours
so you could do the things you want to do?
Some of my clients become frustrated because they feel that
time is slipping away from them. They go to work, return home,
clean house, make dinner, and get ready for the next day.
After all the necessary things are done, there is very little
time left and they feel exhausted.
I work diligently with my clients to help them with time
management. We speak often of goals--how to create them, work
them and achieve them.
Quite often when we review the goals, my clients tell me, "Now
is not the right time."
In my opinion, "Now is the time."
Now is the time to start exercising.
Now is the time to start watching your weight and laying the
groundwork to becoming healthier.
Interestingly, some even believe now is the perfect time to
buy a house, invest in stocks, or start a business.
Now is the time to do whatever you have been dreaming of
doing.
Why are we reluctant to implement our plans? Why do we think
that "now is not the time?"
Fear is what holds most people back from moving forward.
The best way to overcome fear is with knowledge. Once you
attain the knowledge you need to accomplish your plan and put
it into action, you'll see the results of your efforts.
How does one attain knowledge?
You can learn a lot by investing in live seminars,
teleseminars, instructional DVD's, audio book programs (great
to listen to while driving), and workshops. You can attend
classes at your local community college or other institution
or through your high school or technical school evening
program. You can take courses online. You can consider working
with a life coach.
Just do something. Now IS the time....
